LE CHEVAL ET SON CAVALIER
A Young Man, who fancied himself something of a horseman, mounted a Horse which had not been properly broken in, and was exceedingly difficult to control.
كان هناك شاب يتخيل نفسه فارسًا، وكان يمتطي حصانًا لم يتم تدريبه بشكل صحيح، وكان من الصعب للغاية السيطرة عليه.
Un jeune homme, qui se croyait un peu cavalier, monta un cheval qui n'avait pas été correctement débourré et qui était extrêmement difficile à maîtriser.
No sooner did the Horse feel his weight in the saddle than he bolted, and nothing would stop him.
لم يكد الحصان يشعر بثقله في السرج حتى انطلق مسرعا، ولم يوقفه شيء.
À peine le cheval sent-il son poids sur la selle qu'il s'élance, et rien ne l'arrête.
A friend of the Rider's met him in the road in his headlong career, and called out, "Where are you off to in such a hurry?"
التقى صديق للراكب به على الطريق في مسيرته المتهورة، وناداه، "إلى أين أنت ذاهب في مثل هذه العجلة؟"
Un ami du cavalier le rencontra sur la route dans sa course effrénée et lui demanda : "Où vas-tu si vite ?".
To which he, pointing to the Horse, replied, "I've no idea: ask him."
فأجاب وهو يشير إلى الحصان: "ليس لدي أي فكرة: اسأله".
Ce à quoi il a répondu, en montrant le cheval, "Je n'en ai aucune idée : demandez-lui".
