The Armenian Alphabet
Armenian is the language of the Armenian people and the official language of the Republic of Armenia.
The Armenian language belongs to the Indo-European family of languages and has its own independent branch. The Armenian alphabet was created in 405 A.D. It consists of 39 letters.
Armenian is a synthetic language, meaning the construction of one word, combined with endings and declensions may contain as much information as an entire English phrase.
