What is the Priority LingQs list?

The Priority LingQs list contains the 25 most important words that you have saved. These words are important because they occur most frequently which is why it makes sense to learn them first. That is why we show these words on the Overview page for review and on the Write page for you to try and use in your writing.

How do I record my listening hours?

There are two ways to enter listening hours in LingQ. You can  enter it in the Progress Snapshot by clicking on the plus sign beside Hours of Listening. You can also enter it in the Status Widget beside each item in the WorkDesk. You can indicate how many times you have listened to each Item and the system will calculate how much listening you have done. The Status Widget is also visible in the Item Menu in the WorkDesk reading area.

                      

Can I learn more than one language at one time?

Yes, you can. You can study as many languages as we offer. However, account limits are applied across all languages. This means that as a Free Member you are entitled to 5 Items across all languages and not 5 Items per language.
